How To Make It
1. Prepare Your Workspace
Lay down a protective sheet or trash bag to keep your table paint-free. Cut your kraft paper to the size you need.
2. Choose Your Leaf “Stamp”
Select dried hemp leaves with clean edges. Pressed leaves work well for flat stamping; thicker dried leaves create more texture.
3. Add Paint to the Leaf
Using a sponge brush or roller, gently coat the underside of the leaf with a thin, even layer of acrylic paint.
Tip: The underside has better vein detail.
4. Press Onto the Paper
Lay the leaf paint-side down and press firmly with your palm. Lift gently to reveal a natural botanical print.
5. Create a Repeat Pattern
You can space stamps evenly, cluster them, alternate directions, or create a full botanical collage. This is where the artistry happens.
6. Let Dry Completely
Once dry, the paper can be rolled, folded, or stored for future gifts.
7. Finish Your Gift
Use jute twine, dried florals, or a hemp-leaf gift tag to complete the aesthetic.
